Darel Chase is a fully ordained Minister, holding ministerial credentials and earned degrees in Theology and Ministry. He is married to Tia Lecian-Chase, who is the love of his life. He is the Pastor of Kingdom Embassy Christian Church, located in Louisville, KY.

Darel Chase has over 36 years training and teaching experience in the martial arts. He began his study of martial arts in 1974 in the discipline of Moo Duk Kwan (Tae Kwan Do), under the leadership and direction of Sabumnim Bill Timme at the Ridgewood YMCA. He was introduced to the art of Jujutsu through O'Sensei Michael DePasquale, Sr. (deceased) of Yoshitsune Jujitsu and Hakko-ryu Jujutsu. He continued his study of martial arts under the leadership and direction of Bill Smith, Hanshi in the art of Aikijujitsu earning the rank of Hachidan (8th Dan).

Kyoshi Chase is the Headmaster and Kaiso of Daito-ryu Aiki-jujitsu Goshinkan Renmei, a modern system of Aiki-budo, which consists of Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu, Jujutsu, Ken-jutsu and Reiki (Healing Arts). He is listed on the Aikido Journal under the affiliation of the Daito-ryu Aiki-bujutsu Kenkyukai. Chase Sensei is also the Kaicho (President) of the International Combat Aiki-jujutsu Federation.

Chase Sensei has demonstrated a true mastery of combative applications of aikijutsu and has some extremely powerful expressions of budo. His own expression of aiki-related arts is complementary to many systems. He has a superb teaching/delivery style and a great "mat rapport" while teaching.

 

Jason A. Hunt

Jason Hunt has worked as a bi-vocational minister and church planter for over a decade. He was ordained by the late Apostles Charles & Frances Hunter and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in ministry and theology. He is a published author having written the books "Reasons for the Seasons: Origins of the Christian Holidays", "Divine Healing in the Kingdom" and his third title in development "The Tribulation Survival Guide" a book dedicated to equipping Christians for life and ministry in the end times.

Jason has been training in martial arts for over twenty five years. He holds black belt ranks in Krav Maga, Ju Jitsu, Karate and Hapkido along with a Blue Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and has completed numerous continuing education courses under various instructors in various styles which have earned him many other ranks and distinctions which include a 2001 induction into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame. In addition to his twenty-five plus years as a martial artist, he has attained professional certification as a Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Certified Firearms Instructor, and a Wilderness Survival Instructor. He currently serves as a Firefighter in rural Kentucky.

Manuel Villafuerte began his martial arts training in New Jersey under the tutalege of Kyoshi Chase in May of 2000. He is the Uchi Deshi (live-in-student) of Kyoshi Chase and trains in the arts of Nihon Goshin Daito-ryu and Shorin-ryu Karate-Do.
